Answers to the most frequent questions about the Prysma platform.
How do I become a Prysma user?
The Prysma platform is intended for qualified users. To become a user, you must meet both mandatory conditions: university studies (bachelor, master or doctorate) in psychology or related fields and competencies in the use of psychometric instruments. When you create your account, you go through an eligibility step in which you declare your studies, competencies and experience.
How do I create a Prysma account?
Creating an account takes two steps. In Step 1 – Eligibility, you select your completed university studies, your competencies in using psychological tests and your experience. In Step 2 – Create account, you fill in your name, email address and password and choose a subdomain for your application (for example, name.prysma.ro). After confirmation, your account and dedicated application are created and you can log in.
What tests and scales does Prysma include?
Prysma includes the main instruments used in psychological practice: the Normal Personality scales, the Clinical Personality scales, the Clinical Symptom (cross-cutting) scales, the Vocational Interests scales and the Validity scales. Each one has short and long forms, and you can combine the scales you need for your objectives.
How does the subscription work?
Prysma tests are purchased through an individual subscription, monthly or yearly. While the subscription is valid, usage is unlimited, within the limits of reasonable use in the practice of a psychologist. The subscription gives you access to all scales and the ability to configure your own tests.
How do I administer a test?
Administration is preferably done online: you send an electronic invitation to the assessed person, and the system collects the responses and automatically generates the report. If online administration is not possible, you can download the items, apply the test in paper-and-pencil format and later enter the responses into the system, which scores them automatically.
What types of reports does Prysma generate?
Prysma generates detailed reports that include the graphical representation of raw and standardized scores, descriptions of the measured constructs and of the meaning of the scores. For special system configurations, the reports also contain useful recommendations for professional practice.
Are the Prysma tests approved?
Yes. The tests in the Prysma system were approved for an indefinite period by the Romanian College of Psychologists (Colegiul Psihologilor din România) in 2022.
